Lab Manager

Siouxland Energy Cooperative is accepting applications for a Lab Manager in the Ethanol Plant near Sioux Center. Laboratory and computer experience necessary. BS in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or related field will be helpful. Experience with HPLC, GC, IC, and NIR is preferred. This person needs to be able to work well with others, be able to learn plant process, perform quality test and experiments on products. Lead Shift Operator

Siouxland Energy Cooperative has an immediate opening for a Lead Operator. The successful candidate will uphold maximum production and quality standards while maintaining a positive teamwork environment to ensure steady state operation. The position will assume the responsibility of both the operation of the facility as well as the production staff for the duration of this 12 hour shift. This position will work closely with the Production Supervisor and Production Manager in an effort to reach production goals and requirements. 3-5 years prior ethanol plant experience required. Individual must be hard working and self-motivated. Individuals must manage confined space, climb ladders and steps, and lift up to 60 pounds. We offer on-the-job training and excellent benefit program.

Shift Operators

Shift Operators must be willing to learn new procedures in the ethanol industry. Prior ethanol plant experience is preferred but not required. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training. Boiler operation, process control systems, reverse osmosis, chiller operation and cooling tower experience would be helpful. 12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule allowing for 2-3 days off between rotation. $2.00/hr shift differential for night shift.  If you are interested in this position, call Shane Rasset at 712-722-4904, Ext 105 or email resume to

Shift Maintenance

Shift maintenance personnel need to have general understanding of maintenance procedures and be willing to learn procedures for the ethanol industry. Knowledge of 4-20 milliamps, 460 V 3 Ph power distribution,welding and payloader experience is a plus.  These individuals must be able to meet call in requirements.



Physical requirements include managing confined space, ability to lift 60lbs, ability to climb ladders and steps and be able to safely operate company equipment. Previous experience is always helpful, but Siouxland Energy is committed to providing extensive training to the right candidate.
